Episode 115x "The Lava Lickers"

int: Rachris Flight Hangar:

As this scene starts we see Wilma and an alien who's a Rachris. 
Rachrises look like they have a mask on that is part of the face, by 
bone ridges that go off to either side of the face (about seven ridges 
to each side, growing in size the further they go back on to the ears). 
On the top of the nose starts another series of ridges that moves up the 
forehead growing in size: once more this stops at seven. This flight 
hangar is smaller than the one that the Defense Directorate uses and it 
has a less cluttered look to it and very dull.

Wilma: "Well I have to see it put to the test first."

Unee: "When we here at Compart Defense contacted the Defense Directorate 
we knew to expect no less from you on your expectations of our work."

Panning the camera towards a wall we see a ship that looks a Z-87 but it 
has spattered patches of something that's black with a bumpy texture to 
it. All these patches have a welded-together look to them. Right to the 
side of the ship is a variety of blasters of different sizes and looks. 
Wilma and Unee enter the camera range. Cont: "Care to test the hull?"

Unee grabs a medium-size looking blaster and hands it to Wilma.

Wilma, looking at the gun: "Is it powerful?"

Unee: "What you're holding on a scale of one to ten is an eight."

Wilma, looking towards the camera which also has this shot at in front 
of the Z-87, fires out a blast.

She puts down her arm with the gun, looking satisfied with what she has 
just done. A beat; Wilma: "Which of these rank on the nine scale?"

She looks down and off to the side of the camera towards where we know 
where the guns are.

Cut camera to behind her, to see her crouching down to look at the guns 
with Unee. Unee, pointing to a few of the larger guns: "These."

Wilma points towards a large gun that has a different look than the 
rest. Wilma: "What's that?"

Unee: "That shouldn't be here; I'll remove it."

Unee picks up the odd gun. 

Wilma smiles. Wilma: "Scale 11?"

Unee: "No, scale ten; it just isn't a weapon meant to be here."

Wilma: "If scale ten falls under the lines of a blast from a Draconian 
fighter then I need to see what it can do to the Zee you have here."

Unee: "It is not a demonstration weapon. Kindly choose another to do 
your test, Colonel Deering."

Cut to:

ext: Compart Defense Communications Center:

V.O. Wilma: "Would you mind it if I used your computer for a little?"

V.O. Rachris One: "That would all depend on your intended use for it. 
Who are you?"

Cut to:

int: Compart Defense Communications Center:

It's a dull looking place filled up with dull looking little cubicles. 
Wilma is standing before the entranceway to one of them that has Rachris 
One inside of it.

Wilma: "Colonel Wilma Deering of Earth's Defense Directorate. I need to 
send a message to my superior Doctor Huer about the Hull armor Compart 
has developed for our ships."

Rachris One: "If you're really who you say you are, then why do you need 
to send a message through one of our computers?"

Wilma: "Because sending it through a ship transmission or phone booth is 
very unwise."

Rachris One: "So your enemies hear all your transmissions during 
battle?"

Wilma: "I flew a shuttle to get here, not a Zee. Shuttles don't have the 
same software Z-87s have for encoding messages."

Rachris One: "This really is some big deal isn't it?"

Wilma: "Yes [ beat ] it is."

Rachris One gets up from where she's been sitting. Walking by Wilma, 
Rachris One: "Enjoy the office till I come back here in five minutes 
with a fresh cup of Masrex java."

Rachris One now walks off camera.

Wilma sits down to the computer and begins to easily work away at it, 
even though its interface looks very alien.

Focusing the camera on the computer screen we can see she's brought up a 
picture of the odd gun that she had pointed out back in the hangar.

Cut camera to Wilma's face with a look of shock.

Another Rachris comes in behind her at the entranceway to the cubicle, 
and takes notice of her and the computer she's working at.

Wilma turns her head to look at the Rachris.

Beginning of Act One:

ext: Huer's Office:

Buck is upset and he's storming towards it.

Not even knocking first he enters. After a beat, Buck: "What do you mean 
Wilma's missing?!"

Cut to:

int: Huer's Office:

Huer is here: he's upset but nowhere near as upset as Buck.

Huer: "Buck, I find this situation just as disturbing as you do, but 
Compart Defense has the situation under control. They'll find her."

Buck: "And what if they don't! We don't know what happened to her!"

Huer: "Their detail to that of that, "she simply vanished", doesn't seem 
right Buck, I know."

Buck: "Get the Defense Directorate involved; we need to find out what's 
on here! There has to be more to this than we're being told!"

Huer: "We are allies with the Rachris, and the Directorate has a long 
history with their Defense Administration, "Compart"; [ beat ] we can't 
just simply rush in and demand to know what's happened to Colonel 
Deering. It just isn't done that way, Buck."

Buck: "And why not!"

Huer: "[ beat ] Diplomatic reasons; it just can't be done with the force 
of a bull."

Buck, after a beat of pacing around the office: "What if it was done 
quietly?"

Huer smiles.

Cut to:

int: Buck's Living Room:

He's finishing packing a suitcase and he's wearing civilian clothes as a 
knock is heard.

Buck: "Who is it?" he says in a loud voice.

V.O. Fox: "It's me, Fox; we need to talk." Buck shuts his suitcase.

Fox enters the room.

Buck turning to Fox: "About what? Fox, I already told you I have to go 
at this alone."

Fox: "Oh I know that, [ beat ] it's just, well I've been trying to tell 
-. Buck could you talk to him?"

Buck: "Talk to who?"

Cut to:

ext: Defense Directorate / shuttle park:

Buck and Fox are standing side by side in front of Twiki, who's holding 
a suitcase of his own in front of a shuttle that looks like the type 
Wilma used to get to Sanopp back in Episode Five.

Buck: "Twiki, you can't come."

Twiki: "Why not?"

Buck: "Dr. Huer wants me to do this thing in a very low-key manner, and 
you're not a very low-key robot. [ beat ] I'm sorry bud."

Twiki: "Ambuquad."

Buck, looking off: "Whatever."

Fox: "Twiki, you do remember what happened the last time you insisted 
you had to go along with Buck for an event don't you?"

Twiki: "But this isn't the same thing, we're not going to Galileo City. 
Those fiends have been taken away. Wilma is missing I and intend to help 
get her back into our lives!"

Buck "And the best way for you to help with that is by not coming with 
me to find her."

Twiki: "Look Holmes, you need me for this! I'm an asset to this!"

Buck: "Holmes?"

Twiki: "We got a mystery on our hands, Buck. You're Holmes and I'm 
Watson."

Fox: "Twiki, you do know the difference between reality and fiction 
don't you?"

The camera is on Twiki for a beat before ...

Twiki turns to Fox and goes: "So long you foxy thing, I have a mystery 
to help solve." And with that last line having been said, Twiki then 
proceeds to walk into the shuttle.

Cutting the camera to Buck and Fox. Buck: "Are all ambuquads this unique 
or is it just mine?"

Fox: "Twiki is unique, very very unique."

Fox turning to Buck, Cont: "And YOU'RE very lucky to have him."

Buck turning to Fox, Buck: "Thanks." He says sarcastically.

Cut to:

ext: Space:

We see an alien planet: this is the Rachrises' home world.

Cut to:

ext: Compart Defense / Shuttle Park:

The shuttle from the scene before last is here and it sticks out like a 
sore thumb against the background of alien military ships all about it. 
Buck is outside the ship with a couple of Rachrises in their military 
garb; Twiki is nowhere to be seen.

Rachris Two: "You can't park your ship here."

Buck: "And WHY is that, might I ask?"

Rachris Three: "Because you are a civilian along with your ship and 
you're on military property."

Buck: Weell I maybe a civilian but I do have as much right to be here as 
you do."

Rachris Three: "That reason being, before we have your ship commandeered 
and you taken into the custody of our local law enforcement?"

Buck: "I was told to come here by the manufacturers for a free upgrade 
to its engines." Buck points backwards towards the ship.

Rachris Two: "Sir, as you've been told before, you and your ship are on 
military property. By order of the ship's manufacturer or not, you have 
to leave here."

Buck: "Are you in charge of this "military property"?"

Rachris Three: "No."

Buck: "Then I'm not leaving here till this ship has had its upgrade or 
someone higher than you tells me to leave."

The two Rachrises look a little stunned for a beat at what Buck has just 
said.

Rachris Two: "My assistant will be your escort during your presence 
here. [ beat ] Is there anyone else on board your ship?"

Buck: "Just a good, rather enthusiastic friend."

Buck turns backwards to the ship. Cont: "TWIKI!"

Cut camera to fully being on the ship at its entranceway, which is a 
Phasoft-door. V.O. Twiki: "Hold your horses, Buck! I'm coming I'm 
coming!"

Cut camera back to Buck and the two Rachrises. Rachris Three: "You 
brought Terran wildlife with you also?"

Buck: "No no, that's just an old Earth expression, "hold your horses"."

Rachris Two look behind Buck towards the ship.

After a beat Rachris Three takes notice of Rachris Two and does the 
same.

Rachris Three draws a blaster on Twiki as he enters camera range holding 
a suitcase. Rachris Three: "Unless you want me to give you a need for 
replacement parts. I suggest you leave that suitcase with me."

Twiki: "You need a replacement crystal and welding torch too?"

Buck: "You brought a welding torch?"

Twiki: "Well you never know when one might come in handy."

Rachris Three: "I'm going to have to confiscate your belongings in that 
bag, "Twiki." [ beat ] Hand them over."

Twiki: "Buck?"

Buck: "[ beat ] Twiki, do as the alien says, we don't want any trouble."

Twiki: "Ah nuts." Twiki sets the suitcase down in front of Rachris 
Three.

Rachris Two: "Both of you come with me." Rachris Two motions for Buck 
and Twiki to follow her.

Cut camera to being about thirty feet from Buck's ship. Rachris Two, 
followed by Buck and Twiki, is headed for the camera. In the background 
by the ship we can see Rachris Three rooting through Twiki's suitcase.

Rachris Two: "You are aware here you are the alien, Human." Rachris Two 
doesn't even look back towards Buck when saying this.

Buck: "Sorry, keep forgetting that fact."

Rachris Two sighs, Rachris Two: "You Humans think you're so almighty, high 
and powerful. Your Defense Directorate has nothing on Compart."

Buck: "Have you encountered anyone from Earth's Defense Directorate 
recently with those words?"

Rachris Two: "Recently there was some Human female here from the 
Directorate. WISH that I had the chance to tell her that."

Buck: "She left back for Earth before you got the chance?"

Rachris Two: "No, I heard she went missing in the hills somewhere past 
town."

Buck: "Has anyone tried to locate her?"

Rachris Two: "To help them in battle on some distance world is one 
thing. To help one of them on this planet? She can take care of herself. 
She's of no concern to Compart."

Buck takes on an angry look.

Note the whole time this conversation has been going on, Rachris Two has 
not seen how Buck has reacted to her words.

End of Act One:

Beginning of Act Two:

ext: Hills Wilderness:

The soil is near black, and volcanic rocks can be seen all over the 
place: ranging in between the size of a marble to the size of a car. 
Small plants also dot this landscape, from being in shades of green to 
being amazing sunset colors. The land is steep but as Buck walks on its 
incline it seems to bother him less than Twiki, whose movements come 
nowhere close to a mountain goat's.

Twiki: "Maybe she's not out here. They did lie before."

Buck: "True, but we have to follow any leads we get."

Twiki: "Could you slow down?"

Buck looks back towards Twiki, Buck: "It was your idea to come, not 
mine."

Buck turns away from Twiki and continues walking forward.

Cut to:

int: Volcano Mouth:

The camera is close to the ground and we can see bright hot lava 
touching pitch-black rock.

A large webbed crocodile-looking paw comes into the camera's view. Note 
it has the same bumpy texture we saw earlier on the Z-87.

Cut the camera back some so we can see the full body of this creature: 
its body has the shape of a large reptile that's built low to the 
ground. Its back has flat armor-looking plates covering it; the eyes are 
spread far apart from each other. Its mouth and nose look like a strange 
cross between a bat's and an insect's. Once more like its paws the same 
bumpy texture is all over its body.

Cut camera back some more so we can see were the volcano's interior ring 
starts. After a beat Buck comes into view and he looks down towards the 
creature.

After a beat Twiki comes up to Buck's side.

The creature turns its head for a beat to the side then back towards the 
lava.

Buck: "What on Earth -?"

Twiki: "You mean what on Debmeal."

The creature moves into the lava a little: a fact that doesn't seem to 
bother the animal in the least however ...

Twiki: "Oh my god!"

Twiki starts to move forward but Buck halts him. Buck: "Hold up there 
Twiki [ beat ] we can't go after it."

Twiki: "It's going to kill itself!"

Buck: "Unless lava doesn't hurt you I wouldn't advise going [ beat ] 
after it. Maybe, maybe what we're seeing here is a lemming."

The animal moves more into the lava and sticks out its tongue and 
proceeds to lap up the molten rock.

Buck takes on a look of shock. Cont: "Or maybe it just wants a drink."

Cut to:

ext: Park Office:

It's a small building with a dirt-made parking lot. This building looks 
like it's been set up to take on tourists in small loads. In its parking 
lot are a few car-sized shuttle-looking vehicles.

V.O. Buck: "How many animals in this park are carnivorous?"

Cut to:

int: Park Office:

Park Ranger One: "Why are you asking me this question?"

Buck: "I heard recently a friend of mine got lost out this way, and I 
saw some large strange looking animal while exploring your park."

Park Ranger One takes on a small look of worry. Then after a beat, Park 
Ranger One in a low voice getting close to Buck: "Are you a lawyer?"

Buck: "No."

Park Ranger One backs up from Buck to where he was before he got close 
to him and, Park Ranger One now in a normal voice: "Well there are a few 
carnivorous animals here in the park. [ beat ] What kinds of animals do 
you think might be a threat to this friend of yours: big ones or little 
ones." While saying that last line Park Ranger One moves one of his 
hands: flat palmed up and down for the "big and little" part of the 
line.

Buck: "Wilma can defend herself pretty well, but for some reason the 
kind you have in this park -. One of your animals appears to be fire 
proof."

Hunter: "A Lava Licker."

Buck turns to Hunter at this. Buck: "Is that what they're called?"

Another Park Ranger takes notice of Buck and Hunter. This Park Ranger is 
Park Ranger Two: only this one is dressed in noticeably different 
clothes than Park Ranger One. In fact nothing about the demeanor to his 
look tells us who he is.

Hunter: "Where'd you see it? Nasty beasts: one of them could have pulled 
this Wilma into its home for about a two month stack."

Park Ranger Two motions to Park Ranger One to keep his mouth shut. Buck 
and Hunter take no notice of this.

Buck: "Inside the mouth of a volcano getting a drink I guess. [ beat ] 
I've never seen another animal in my whole life do such a thing."

Hunter: "You lead me to the licker and I'll help you get Wilma back from 
it, [ beat] hopefully in one whole piece."

Twiki: "Buck?"

Turning to Twiki for only a beat to say this, Buck: "Any leads, we don't 
know for sure yet what's going on."

Hunter: "What do you mean not sure yet what's going on?"

Buck: "I was fed a lie earlier about what was going on with Wilma 
missing."

Hunter: "Well I ain't no liar about danger. Would you like me to help 
you?"

Buck: "Of course."

Hunter eyes Park Ranger One before turning back to Buck and saying: "If 
we're gonna do this right in getting Wilma back from a licker. We better 
start getting ready outside."

Park Ranger Two: "Can I come too!"

Hunter: "[ beat ] And your reason [ beat ] sir?"

Park Ranger Two: "I've dealt with them before." He says very sternly.

Hunter: "[ beat ] Outside the both of you."

Hunter heads out the Phasoft-door.

Cut to:

ext: Hills Wilderness:

The camera is close up on Buck and Hunter as a suitcase that's rather 
large and looks to be made of a thick plastic is sat on the ground.

He opens it up to reveal a number of guns fitted into the case. One of 
them is the gun that Wilma was questioning about earlier in the episode. 
Hunter: "I get the big one." He points to the gun Wilma had questioned.

Cont: "Which one do you want?" Hunter flares around his hand at the 
guns.

Buck: "Is this illegal?"

Hunter: "You're asking me this, why?" He gives Buck a cold look.

Buck: "You're showing me this now away from the park office."

Hunter: "Lickers are legal but most other animals in the park aren't. If 
I'd shown you this back at the office they might have thought the wrong 
thing about my intent in this."

Buck gives Hunter a wondering but stern look before pointing into the 
case at a medium-sized blaster. Buck: "I'll take that one."

Cutting back the camera to reveal the scene better, we see Park Ranger 
Two with Twiki; Hunter turning to Park Ranger Two: "You don't have an 
issue with this do you?"

Park Ranger Two: "No, not at all."

Park Ranger Two gets closer to the suitcase for a better look. Park 
Ranger Two pointing to a futuristic dart-gun: "I'll take that one."

Hunter makes a gruff little noise then hands Park Ranger Two the 
dart-gun. Hunter: "Amateur."

Cut to:

int: Volcano Mouth:

The camera is focused on the Lava Licker making its way out of the lava.

Cut camera to the edge of the volcano's mouth. Buck, Hunter and Park 
Ranger Two are here. Buck: "So once it leaves here if it gives us 
trouble: we fire?" Midway through Buck saying that, Twiki enters the 
scene.

Cut camera on to Hunter who doesn't seem to have noticed that Buck has 
said anything. He's looking off down into the volcano and seems to be in 
his own little world. Hunter: "Just a little more."

After a beat Hunter starts to lift his gun.

Cut to:

int: Volcano Mouth:

We see the Lava Licker fully pull itself out of the lava. 

Cut camera to being close on Hunter, he lifts out his arm holding the 
gun in one swift movement.

Cut camera on to Buck; who has noticed what Hunter is about to do and 
draws his gun. Buck: "YOU SAID WE WERE GOING TO FOLLOW IT!"

Cut camera on to Hunter whose eyes aren't even on Buck, but are still 
looking into the volcano. Hunter: "And you believed me."

Panning the camera to this: we get it on to his figure on the trigger.

The finger starts to pull back and we can hear the ping of a shot being 
fired.

The gun and the figure drop out of sight.

Cut camera back so we can see this scene better. Park Ranger Two is 
putting down his dart-gun; and Buck is staring at him still ready to 
fire. Hunter is on the ground with a dart sticking out of him. After a 
beat ...

Buck: Compart?"

Park Ranger Two: "Tourist?"

After a beat of this Twiki walks to being in between the two.

Twiki: "Break it off you two." Twiki says this turning to both of them.

Park Ranger Two: "You think I'm with Compart, why do you think that?"

Buck: "It's just a guess; your shot to the hunter looked like it had 
some practice to it."

Park Ranger Two: "And even though you're supposedly trying to find you 
friend, you don't seem like the average tourist: [ beat ] even with your 
not being from this planet."

Another beat as Buck and Park Ranger Two hold their guns on each other.

End of Act Two:

Beginning of Act Three:

ext: Volcano Mouth:

This scene picks up were Act Two left off.

Twiki: "Buck, he might be on our side."

Buck : "Are you with Compart Defense?"

Park Ranger Two: "No, I'm a Park Ranger there. Why did you ask me if I 
was with Compart Defense?"

As Park Ranger Two starts to lower his gun, so does Buck. Buck: "That 
friend of mine, Wilma, is with Earth's Defense Directorate. She came 
here by invitation by your Defensive Administration to look over an 
upgrade for approval created for our fighters. [ beat ] A few days back 
she was reported missing, Compart at first claimed they had no clue as 
to her whereabouts. And they were trying their best to find her. Then 
they turned around later and told me she had gone missing somewhere out 
here." Buck waves around one of his arms to indicate the land.

Park Ranger Two smiles widely at having heard that last line and takes 
on a very pleased look.

Park Ranger Two speaking as cheery as he looks: "You're with Earth's 
Defense Directorate too, aren't you?"

Buck: "If I was this information would be important to you, [ beat ] 
why?"

Park Ranger Two: "Because if you're a member of Earth's Defense 
Directorate then we might be able to [ beat ] as they might say on 
Earth, "Kill two birds with one stone"."

Buck: "Meaning?"

Park Ranger Two: "Look down into the volcano."

After a beat, Buck does as he's been told.

Now with Park Ranger Two, Buck and Twiki looking towards the Lava Licker 
which is resting near the pool of lava inside the volcano's mouth, Park 
Ranger Two: "They've been on the endangered species list for sixty 
years."

Park Ranger Two points towards the Lava Licker. Cont: "I'm part of a 
group that's sole job is the protection of them." He stops pointing out 
at the animal. Cont: "That guy I just knocked out was a poacher; I 
wasn't completely sure and I needed to confirm that fact before taking 
action. These beasts are worth a lot to those with low morals. [ beat ] 
Their pelts are tougher than the thickest ship's hull, and they're easy 
to work with shortly after having been killed. But that changes quickly; 
it hardens to the degree nothing can compare with it. There are some at 
Compart who will do any thing to advance ship protection and weapon 
destruction, even if it means doing acts outside the law."

Park Ranger Two turns to Buck, which causes Buck to look away from the 
Lava Licker to Park Ranger Two. Cont: "[ beat ] One of the ones in my 
group planted -."

Park Ranger Two points down to Hunter's gun. Cont: "One of them at where 
Deering was taken to test the Lava Licker-made hull. [ beat ] We knew 
she'd question its presence at the demonstration area due to her being a 
member of the Defense Directorate."

Buck: "Do you know where she might be?"

Park Ranger Two: "Not being a member of Compart I don't know. She might 
be detained in a high security prison cell. She might have been taken to 
an underground physic reimaging center. She might be dead."

Buck: "I don't like any of those thoughts, but at the worst I'm hoping 
for the first one you said."

After a beat and taking on a cocky look, Park Ranger Two: "If some in 
your Defense Directorate ran on the same type of morals some at Compart 
do, what do you think they'd do?"

Giving a slight smile, Buck: "I'm that obvious aren't I?"

Cut to:

ext: Compart Defense / Shuttle Park:

Just after its entranceway.

Park Ranger Two and Buck have just come in here as the scene begins. 
V.O. Rachris Three: "Halt!"

Under his breath Buck nearly curses.

Rachris Three comes running into the scene as Buck and Park Ranger Two 
stop in their movement.

Rachris Three, shouting at Buck: "Where have you been?! I escorted you 
and your ambuquad to the guest lounge, turn my back for one moment and 
you're gone! [ beat ] Where is the ambuquad?"

Buck: "He got lost in the hills, [ beat ] I went looking for that woman 
from the Defense Directorate."

Rachris Three: "And why did you go looking for her?"

Buck: "Birds of a feather."

Rachris Three: "What?" Rachris Three has been walking towards Buck and 
Park Ranger Two: she's nearly there now.

Buck moving his head around as he says this, Buck: "Besides myself, how 
many other Humans do you see around here."

Rachris Three gives Buck a cold look before saying: "You shouldn't be 
here. I helped look into your ship being here for a mechanical upgrade. 
You lied."

Park Ranger Two starts to look a bit distracted. Buck: "So?"

Rachris Three: "Why are you here? I can shoot you on the spot if you 
don't answer me right."

Park Ranger Two starts walking away from Buck. Buck gives a look of 
serious thought for a moment, Buck: "[ beat ] And what would the right 
answer be?"

Rachris Three draws a blaster on Buck.

Buck looks wide-eyed at it but doesn't look to be in real shock at the 
sight of it.

Buck turning to where Park Ranger Two was: "Hey are you seeing th -?" 
Buck takes notice of that Park Ranger Two is gone.

Rachris Three now notices this as well. Rachris Three: "Where has your 
companion gone to?"

Buck: "Beats me." Buck puts a hand on Rachris Three's blaster and lowers 
it. Cont: "Lower that thing on me, will you, while I go off and find 
him. He's not the sort you want roaming freely around a place like 
this."

Buck walks away from Rachris Three.

Rachris Three fires at Buck from behind, nearly hitting him.

Buck twists around fast at this and in doing so pulls out a blaster that 
has been concealed in a pants pocket and fires back at Rachris Three.

Buck begins running off in the direction he was already heading in.

Rachris Three fires a couple more times at Buck as Buck also takes a few 
shots at Rachris Three and runs into Compart Defense.

Cut to:

int: Hallway:

It has the same drab look as the Rachris Flight Hangar but also has the 
added feel to it of, even though we know people use it, it's so clean 
you'd never know it. As this starts Buck has just run in here looking 
behind himself most of the way. Note that this hallway has doors and 
it's been indented for them by a good amount.

Buck quickly slips into the second indent he finds closest to him.

Looking to the side of the wall he's nearest to he sees a directory of 
the building with sadly only very few details listed on it. Buck smiles 
at seeing this.

As he's studying the directory Rachris Three's hand with the gun comes 
into view. Not pointed at Buck: just slipping into the camera's view 
into the indent Buck is in.

Buck notices the coming hand with the gun and grabs it quickly, pointing 
them towards the ground.

The gun fires, pointing towards the ground, and Rachris Three screams.

Cut camera to out in the hallway again as Buck comes out to Rachris 
Three who is on the ground in pain at having shot herself in the foot. 
Buck: "Colonel Wilma Deering of Earth's Defense Directorate. I'd like a 
straight and correct answer now about where she is." As this is said he 
points his blaster at her.

int: Computer Room:

It looks like a type of mirror room of sorts. There are mirrors covering 
every wall, with the room having eight walls. How this room works as far 
as operating a computer goes is in a normal mirror room you see yourself 
and multiple images of yourself going off into the distance. In the 
mirror room we have here, the further in the distance your image goes 
back the further back you see what you were doing on your computer. For 
example, the first mirror image you see before you is what you have just 
done on the computer. The next image after that is the image of you and 
the computer screen the moment before the keystroke you just made. The 
next image after that deeper in then will show you and the computer 
screen, before the keystroke that then led to the next screen, with each 
mirror then also showing the reflections of the mirror walls around it. 
The purpose of the computers set up in this fashion, simply stated: 
multi-tasking using a LAN of sorts at its most extreme level. Each of 
these mirror wall computers has a touch screen keyboard with the same 
alien type we saw for the computer Wilma was using back in the teaser. 
Right below this keyboard is a slot for data chips / music chips and so 
on: all the information chips noted so far in the series have all been 
the same size, just different colors depending on use. Twiki is in front 
of these computers working on one, when as this scene starts Park Ranger 
Two enters the room.

Park Ranger Two: "Did you get the information we need?"

The slot of the computer Twiki is standing in front of spits out a few 
data chips. Twiki only catches a few while the rest fall to the floor. 
Twiki: "The whole load."

Twiki looks at the mirror seeing Park Ranger Two. Cont: "Where's Buck?"

Park Ranger Two: "Trying to make his way here. I heard some gunfire a 
moment ago. Do you think he's OK?"

Twiki turns around towards Park Ranger Two. Twiki: "I sure hope so [ 
beat ] uh do you still have that dart-gun on hand?"

Park Ranger Two: "No more darts."

Twiki tries his best to pick up the chips off the floor but this task 
isn't easy because of his clawed fingers. Twiki: "Darn it!"

Park Ranger Two comes over to Twiki and picks up the chips off the 
floor. Park Ranger Two: "First things first; above anything we rescue 
Deering. I'm part of the reason she's in the mess she's in."

Park Ranger Two gets up from the floor and pockets the chips. Twiki: "I 
just don't understand why they would do such a thing, even with knowing 
it's bad."

Both Twiki and Park Ranger Two are now headed for the door. 

Park Ranger Two: "Don't understand which? Why they'd take Deering away 
or use Lava Lickers the way they do?"

Twiki: "The Lava Lickers; if they kill'em it's self-defeating because 
they're protectors."

Park Ranger Two: "Some people will do anything for money and to get a 
job done. They don't care what they do because they feel they must do 
these horrible things to live."

Cut to:

int: Different Hallway:

Park Ranger Two and Twiki have just entered this place from the computer 
room. After a short beat they stop in their movement and we see the nose 
of a blaster come into view just by the camera.

Park Ranger Two: "How did you know?"

V.O. Rachris Two: "Unauthorized access of a computer."

Twiki: "Uh oh."

Park Ranger Two smiles looking forward off to the side a little. 

V.O. Rachris Two: "What?"

Pull camera back then pan it to Buck who is holding Rachris Three 
hostage and pointing a blaster at Rachris Two.

End of Act Three:

Beginning of Act Four:

int: Different Hallway:

This act picks up right where Act Three ended. Rachris Two is now not 
pointing his gun at Park Ranger Two and Twiki. He now has a look of 
dead-faced shock on his face about what Buck is doing.

Rachris Two, speaking in a low voice: "Great, just great." Speaking 
louder, Cont: "Who are you, who are you working for?! The Draconians, 
the Aners, the Ceetars!"

Buck: "Earth's Defense Directorate; drop the blaster!"

Rachris Two puts down his blaster all the while keeping an eye on Buck.

Rachris Two: "You came here after the woman, didn't you, that's what 
this is all about isn't -." Rachris Two notices that Rachris Three is 
hurt. Cont: "Why did you have to go and do that!?"

Buck: "She pulled the trigger and this is about Wilma [ beat ] among 
other things."

Rachris Two: "The Defense Directorate will hear about this!"

Buck: "WELL I HOPE THEY DO! [ beat ] I was told to keep this whole thing 
low key about getting Wilma back! But you know what, I don't care 
anymore because they're criminals! So I say F the inter-planetary rules 
of conduct because of that!"

Park Ranger Two: "Are you dating her?"

Buck: "What? No, [ beat ] I can't get it out of this one where she is. 
Did you and Twiki find out anything?"

Park Ranger Two: "She's being held captive in Cell One on floor minus 
eight."

Buck: "I don't remember any minus floors being listed in the directory 
to this place."

Park Ranger Two gives Buck a cocky look. Park Ranger Two: "Reason behind 
that fact being obvious."

Rachris Three: "You'll never make it out of here knowing what you know!"

Park Ranger Two pulls out his dart-gun. Park Ranger Two: "It's a more 
than even score with this." Park Ranger Two is looking at his gun when 
saying that last line. Cont: "You can't do to us what you've halfway 
done with Deering."

Park Ranger Two looking out towards Buck and Rachris Three, Cont: 
"Rogers here is willing to break the rules over what has been going on 
here. And if you raise a big stink over this thing I can get the 
government to make an even bigger stink over you, get the drift?"

Rachris Two: "You're with the Defense Directorate too?!"

Park Ranger Two: "Nope, I'm a local park ranger who also happens to be a 
member of the Liteau-tasy Protection Society."

Buck is looking really worried; note he's been looking this way since 
Park Ranger Two last mentioned about Wilma.

Cont: "Is something wrong, Rogers?"

Buck: "What was done halfway with Wilma?"

Cut to:

int: Floor Minus Eight:

We're outside of the cell Wilma is being held in. Buck is here with 
Twiki and as this scene is starting Buck is finishing entering code into 
a panel that makes the force field on Wilma's cell drop. Note this is 
being shot at an angle that makes it so we really can't see inside the 
cell.

Buck enters the cell followed by Twiki.

Cut to:

int: Cell:

As the scene starts we see Wilma fighting with a pair of bonds over her 
hands like the type we saw put on Grawl back in Episode Five. Wilma 
doesn't notice Buck and Twiki till ...

Speaking in a low concerned voice, Buck: "Wilma?"

Wilma stops fighting the bonds and looks to Buck. Cont: "[ beat ] Do you 
remember me?"

Wilma: "[ beat ] Of course I do, why do you?"

Wilma looks at her bound hands. Cont: "Could you help me with this?"

Buck: "Put out your hands and don't move an inch."

Wilma holds her arms out straight for Buck and does as she's told. Buck 
grabs out his blaster and points it between the bonds at the device 
that's creating them.

Buck fires, destroying the device.

The bonds around Wilma's hands flicker for a fast beat before 
disappearing all together.

Looking very worried, Wilma: "Buck, what's going on?"

Buck smiles and gives her a quick kiss.

Buck: "How much do you remember?"

Acting shaken and a bit freaked, Wilma: "I - I remember Dr. Huer telling 
me that the Directorate's engineers wanted me to come to -."

Wilma looks into Buck's eyes with a fearful look, Wilma: "I don't 
remember coming here!"

Wilma motions at the cell, Cont: "I don't know why I'm here!"

Wilma grabs Buck in a tight hug and begins to cry. Speaking in a soft 
low voice, Wilma: "I don't know what's happened, [ beat ] oh Buck."

Wilma tries getting a better hold of him in the hug; Buck puts his arms 
around her and hugs her back.

Wilma, still speaking in a shaky voice: "They want to put new memories 
in me [ beat ] for the ones they've taken."

Buck speaking softy to Wilma: "That's not going to happen now, I'm gonna 
make it all better."

End Of Act Four.

Unee is sitting at a desk looking at some papers when Wilma enters the 
scene.

Unee noticing Wilma: "What are you -?"

Wilma decks Unee.
